1/1 Tuxedo Special Persimmon Driver

Standard lofts for classic persimmons were generally 9-10 degrees. This worked back then due to the high spin rates of vintage balata balls. However with modern balls that were made to spin less, the classic standard lofts are generally too strong for most players.

The medium deep faced head is shaped from a solid block of persimmon and finished by hand in the shop. It has 12.5" loft.  9.5" radius for increased gear effect on off center hits. 

Insert is hand made black fiber with aminated G10 bars. G10 is a high pressure glass laminate with>50000 psi.

Weight was moved back from the face to further decrease center of gravity and promote higher trajectory.

It's built on a True Temper TT Lite shaft in stiff flex, 43.5", with a swing weight of D2 and a static weight of 13.2 oz. The grip is a classic Green Victory half cord.
